Lots of Labor Day Boating at the Marina

Boaters were enjoying the last official day of the tourist season at the Sandwich Marina. The refueling station was one of the busiest spots in the marina. It was a very breezy day. You can see the flags blowing and hear the wind in the video. It was very relaxing to sit on a bench and watch the boats come and go.

We had thought the luxury yacht Double Down was gone, but when we arrived this morning she was waiting for us. It felt like we were seeing an old friend. Not everyone took the day off. While most of the commercial fishing fleet was in port, we did see a commercial fisherman arrive and arrange his equipment on the dock.

Labor Day may be the end of the official tourist season, but that doesn't mean that summer is over. The marina has lots more activity to look forward to during the fall.
